Coffee beans

At the beginning of 2020, Bidfood launched

a new coffee blend called Msia Coffee Club.

This is a 100% Arabica single sourced blend

from Msia, Tanzania.

For every case of Msia coffee that is

purchased, £3 is donated to The One

Foundation to support sustainable water

development projects at a school in the Msia

region of Tanzania. These projects include a

joint venture between Bidfood and our coffee

roaster to initially fund the building of a

borehole to provide clean water, then

moving onto other water and sanitisation

projects for a school in the Msia region and

their local community. This will mean that

school children will no longer have to carry 2

litres of water around a mile to school every

day.

Alongside these sustainable water

development projects, our coffee roaster is

supporting the local community with funds to

start a youth empowerment coffee growing

initiative. This empowers the children and

families in the region to become coffee

farmers and develop their own income. To

start this programme our roaster has given

each child and their family coffee plants to
