Engaging our

Communities

Run two sustainability awareness

campaigns per year

To gain greater sales of One Water within

our customer base

To have every toilet within Bidfood

'twinned' to enable a toilet to be created

and maintained overseas

To build partnerships with

organisations and charities to deliver

training and education in schools and

To increase money raised for

Springboard, Hospitality Action and

The Prince's Trust

To create a corporate employee

volunteering standard

To utilise our apprenticeship levy to allow

charity partners to run training

programmes within their organisation

To continue to encourage fundraising and

volunteering by depots for their

communities

We've had a campaign on single-use

plastics, and also a fundraising

campaign for toilet-twinning

This has been unachievable in 2020 due t

the pandemic but we hope to pick this up

again in 2021

Prior to the pandemic, we achieved the

twinning of 29 toilets, we will continue to

promote this

We continue to do this; examples can be

in the Engaging our Communities sectio

In 2019/20 we contributed £73,297 to

Springboard UK and The Springboard Chari

]£53,126 for Hospitality Action and £27,209

The Prince's Trust. For more info please see

We've had to indefinitely postpone the launc

of a volunteering standard due to reduced

headcount and other associated impacts of

Covid-19

We transferred £18,064.48 to Springboard UK f

their training programmes in 2019/20

In 2019/20 our employees supported 201 differ
